David Bazan was amazingly affecting! His songs were deep, dark, and tortured with almost no hope for salvation. He ran through mostly new stuff off his upcoming CD and current EP. The theme of alcoholism ran deep in every song, as did relationship troubles and just general sadness.

The crowd was really into him, and was encouraging, and I think that he fed off that. It took him a song or two to get his voice, but once he found it, he ran with it, and it was beautiful. I hope he comes around again.
