As soon as they lurched into the opening bars of Theft Of A Purse (my current scroll-straight-to favorite), I knew I was in for a treat. Portland's Minmae rarely disappoints, but last night they were in rare form. With some new faces in the band, they plowed through some new songs and gave new energy to some classics (and with something like 700 albums in their catalog, there are a lot of classics to choose from).

They're coming back in April (the 10th at Hemlock) and you can pick up their brand new, limited EP. If you're not there, just kill yourself.
