I was at Bimbo's last night for the first time though it's my second time seeing She & Him (Oyster Fest).

Seeing Zooey and M. Ward play on stages reminds me of back in my elementary school days looking up to my teacher for approval. Zooey, always on point, to gain acceptance from M. Ward as she makes eye contact while singing Take It Back. And M. Ward, endorsing her presence, plays in the shadows.

They make a great team. Though She & Him probably couldn't play at stadiums with 40,000 seats, I cannot subject to myself to seeing them even if they did. As it's better to see Zooey and the gang in their true element like Bimbos and thus more intimate.

Her confidence on stage only grows and as a band altogether they continue to gain acceptance and pleasure playing live. That said, I'll be first in line to purchase She & Him: Vol 2.
