A Weather is a subtly powerful band from Portland, Oregon that successfully blends elements of Low, The New Year and Ida. It's all there: whispered male/female harmonies, sweeping crescendos, understated and layered musical lines. They released their debut album, Cove, in 2008. The most remarkable element of A Weather is their ability to make the most mundane topics absolutely extraordinary (See "Pinky Toe").
