Born Ruffians are a group of four guys from Ontario, Canada and began playing under this name in 2004. Born Ruffians sound a bit like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, but quite a bit less produced. They have an electronic indie pop sound, with extremely youthful, energetic and slightly anxious vocals. Some of their songs have calmer instrumentals, but their vocals maintain their enthusiastic, loud and youthful nature throughout. Since their first self-titled EP release in 2006, Red, Yellow & Blue, Born Ruffians put out various other full length albums and EPs.
