Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power began creating music under the name Fuck Buttons in England in 2004. Fuck Buttons is an electronic noise group that is similar to a combination of Aphex Twin and Dan Deacon. Heavy on the distortion and post-rock appeal, Fuck Buttons also throw in incomprehensible vocals and a sense of gloom and indigenous flare within many of their songs. Their low-fi and distorted approach does not void their songs of rhythm and melodies--instead, Fuck Buttons employ both forces into their style to create songs that are electronically intriguing and unique, but also very listenable.
