"Lilys are an Indie Rock band, formed in Philadelphia, PA at the beginning of the 1990s, and based in Washington, D.C..

The group consists of singer-songwriter/guitarist Kurt Heasley and a long list of constantly changing musicians. Stylistically their music has evolved from Shoegazing (debut album 'In The Presence of Nothing' owes a great deal to My Bloody Valentine's 'Loveless') through Kinks style 60s pop to a more mellow sound on their recent releases."
