Composer for Neon Indian, Alan Palomo, writes electronic noise songs that nonetheless have a strong pop appeal. Palomo introduced his music to the world online, which won him favorable blog reviews and rapid popularity. His music is blurry and sharp at the same time, a bit like Blind Tapes with some of Ariel Pink's method of mixing murky vocals with spacey electronic music. Neon Indian came out of Denton, Texas in 2008 to put out noise pop that is cryptic and captivating.
