Named after an SST Records compilation that came out in 1987, noise rock band No Age consists of Dean Allen Spunt and Randy Randall. No Age draws heavily from punk, DIY and skateboarding values, which can be easily heard in their music. Their songs have a strong garage punk approach, evocative of Wire, but with stronger indie pop appeal. No Age has its roots in the Los Angeles punk scene, having frequently performed at the well-known punk club The Smell. No Age continues to actively support various punk ethics, notably the all ages movement and participates in a group called the "All Ages Movement Project", which seeks to unite youth through indie music. |
