The Besnard Lakes are a Montreal band led by the husband and wife team of Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas. Lasek is known for producing bands like Islands, Stars, Sunset Rubdown and Wolf Parade. The Besnard Lakes recorded their debut full-length, "The Besnard Lakes are The Dark Horse", in 2006.
