The Von Bondies play earnestly and hard to deliver their alternative rock sound. Previously known as The Baby Killers, the Von Bondies' career and signing to a record label began after a show they played at a 2000 New Year's Eve show in their hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Their music is similar to a more garage sounding Louis XIV, with lower vocal ranges. The Von Bondies put out bluesy, garage-punk, alternative rock that is both intense and exciting.
