"Turbonegro (Turboneger in Norway) is a Norwegian band that combines hard rock, rock and punk rock into a style the band describes as 'deathpunk'. The term 'deathpunk' was used in Toronto, Canada, in the early 80's prior to Turbonegro recoining of the term, to describe an unrelated form of music which is now referred to as deathrock. Among the band's main influences are Black Flag, Aerosmith, Venom, Radio Birdman, Motörhead, The Germs, Circle Jerks, Ramones, Alice Cooper and The Stooges."
