I'm fairly new to the Warren Teagarden super-train to fame, but some of these songs are already old friends of mine. Each time I've seen him/them, there have been new faces in the band or new interpretations of his tuneful, sometimes gothic, folk ballads.

From one show to the next, a whimsical number can turn into something a little sinister. Make no mistake; Warren Teagarden is fucking with you. Last night's Hotel Utah show was yet another interesting foray into this multifaceted world. The revolving door of musicians included electric guitar, banjo, piano, and cello.

Though the billing of "Warren Teagarden's Night of A Thousand Faces" was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, in a weird, metaphorical sense, it was true. Damn! See how deep this shit can be!

P.S. It's fun to drink to, too.
